Delete your Fond account
Fond is operated by Fond Kitchen, a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with share capital of €500, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under 130 417 363 R.C.S. Paris. Its registered office is 173 rue de Courcelles, 75017 Paris, France. See our Legal Notice.
If you want to delete your Fond account, you can request deletion from the app or by contacting support from the email address on your account.
Request deletion in the app
- Open Fond and sign in.
- Open Profile or Account settings.
- Choose Request account deletion.
- Confirm the request when prompted.
We review account deletion requests before completion so we can verify the account and avoid accidental deletion.
If you cannot access the app
Email hello@fond.kitchen from the email address on your Fond account with the subject line "Fond account request". Include that you want to delete your account.
Processing your request
The in-app action submits a request for manual handling; your account remains active until deletion is completed. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month of receiving your request. If an extension is legally permitted because of complexity or the number of requests, we explain it within the first month. We confirm the outcome and explain any data that must be retained and why.
What deletion covers
Account deletion removes your Fond account and the personal data associated with it, including saved recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, pantry settings, preferences, and account-linked app data.
Before requesting deletion, contact us for a copy of any data you want to keep. Deletion cannot be undone after completion.
Subscriptions
If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, deleting your Fond account does not cancel the store subscription automatically. Manage or cancel the subscription in the App Store or Google Play account where you subscribed.
Retention
We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons. These retained records are not used to provide an active Fond account.
