What makes Fond different
Fond will import a recipe with AI from a URL, a photo, or a social post, so you can rebuild a collection from the original recipe pages.
Your recipes will live in your own library, where you can organize them and mark favorites.
August, Fond's AI cooking assistant, will answer cooking questions using your saved recipes, weekly plan, and preferences.
You'll be able to drag recipes into your week and get one grocery list that merges ingredients and sorts them by store section.
At launch, Fond will have a free plan with 10 AI recipe imports a month, or the Cook plan at $49 for the first year, then $59 a year or $7.99 a month.
The Pizza Workshop will be available at launch, with baker's percentages, hydration control, and a fermentation tracker.

Switching from Yummly
Yummly is offline, so there is nothing left to export from it. Start with the recipes you can still reach: browser bookmarks, screenshots, and the original websites the recipes came from. When Fond opens, you'll be able to import each recipe from its original URL or from a photo, and Fond's AI will pull out the ingredients and steps. The free plan will include 10 AI imports a month, so if you have a long list, start with the recipes you cook most.
